YU Yunquan

Dr. Yu Yunquan, President and research fellow of the Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies, Editor-in-Chief of International Communications and Contemporary China and World, and Vice President of the Public Diplomacy Committee of the Chinese Association for History of Journalism and Mass Communication. 

Dr. Yu’s research interests include international communication, cultural soft power, Belt and Road Initiative, media and think tanks. Dr. Yu has been included in the national plans of cultivating “China’s leading experts in press and publication” and of cultivating “China’s cultural celebrities and four batches of talents in theoretical research, journalism, publishing, literature and art”.
